Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary Club began 2026 by inducting six new members.

Jane Barnhart is fairly new to PebbleCreek and is an action person. She retired as a clinical lab scientist and is now reaching out to her real passion, people. Jane is looking forward to community service and feels our club fills that role.

Sheri Wallace is a retired foreign language educator. Sheri brings to Rotary a zest for getting things done. Her passion to help people blends well with Service Above Self.

Dave Francis, an engineer who found his way to Human Resources, is an individual willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Dave is community-oriented and enjoys volunteering to make a difference.

Milt Dennison retired from school administration. New to Arizona, Milt was looking for an active Rotary club. Several years ago in a small Washington town, Milt and three friends were meeting regularly and decided to found a Rotary club. A long-time Rotarian with a community service background, Milt exemplifies our Four Way Test of the things we think, say, and do.

Scott Spurgeon is the superintendent of West-Mec vocational schools. He was drawn to Rotary for the community involvement. The growth and commitment to making West-Mec the finest vocational education is a personal goal and learning a bit about Scott, this goal is well within reach. Scott shared that in years past, he was drafted by the Houston Astros and had a baseball career before launching into education.

Brian Issitt, Goodyear Chief of Police, brings a passion for community. Brian shared that he, like Scott, was drafted by the Houston Astros and began his career in baseball before entering the field of law enforcement. Brian is passionate about people and community. The Four Way Test of Rotary is a model he lives each day.

On January 7, 2026, the Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary Club became a richer club, having inducted six new members, all of whom are driven by community, action and participation.
