7th Annual Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary Foundation Golf Tournament and Ball Drop
ARE YOU READY?….The sun is shining, the sky is powder blue, the palm trees are swaying in the distance and you are standing with friends and business associates ready to tee off!
The Rotary Club of Goodyear PebbleCreek will be having their Seventh Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Ball Drop on April 28, at the PebbleCreek Tuscany Falls Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament fund charitable good works that make a difference in the lives of our local community
Many of our non-profits have been overwhelmed with the number of clients they are serving. I hope the success of the Rotary tournament allows us to partner with many of those organizations again with even more dollars!” said Colleen Malany, Rotary Club President. “This commitment to give back is embodied in the “Service Above Self” motto that anchors Rotary’s mission.”
The 18-hole scramble format tournament will begin on at 8:00 a.m. The golf registration fee includes breakfast snacks, cart, lunch and prizes. The PebbleCreek Tuscany Golf Club is located at 16222 Clubhouse Drive in Goodyear, AZ.
The entry deadline is April 19. Entry forms are available on our club website-www.goodyearpebblecreekrotary.org, at the PebbleCreek Golf pro shops or by contacting the Rotarians listed below
Sponsorship packages are available for local businesses interested in supporting the Rotary club’s charitable efforts. All sponsorship donations are re-invested in the community for charitable purposes. We are very excited to have Avondale Toyota as our Event Sponsor be our Event Sponsor this year.
Another fun feature of the tournament is the Golf Ball Drop featuring numbered golf balls dropped from a Goodyear Fire Department ladder truck. The ball landing in or closet to the hole will win up to $3000. The ball drop tickets are $20.00 and are available from Rotary members or on our golf website. You need not be present to win. The proceeds from this part of the tournament will also fund student scholarships and local charitable projects.
