Salvation Army Bell Ringing

Every December, Rotarians volunteer to ring bells on behalf of the Salvation Army. Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary Club commits to two full weekends of bell-ringing. In teams of two, Rotarians, our Interact students and the West Valley Rotaract Club work to together in shifts to share in the spirit of the holidays and give back to the Goodyear community.

Most everyone is familiar with the Salvation Army bell ringing during the holidays. When you volunteer to bell ring, you help improve, and even save lives. The money dropped in a red kettle goes right back into your local community to assist local families in Goodyear and Avondale?  People find themselves in an emergency financial situation due to illness, death, job loss, loss of financial provider, etc. and this is where the Salvation Army steps in to help them on a temporary basis get through the crisis.
