8th Annual Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary Foundation Golf Tournament and Ball Drop

ARE YOU READY?….The sun is shining, the sky is powder blue, the palm trees are swaying in the distance and you are standing with friends and business associates ready to tee off!

The Rotary Club of Goodyear PebbleCreek will be having their Eighth Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Ball Drop on May 4th, at the PebbleCreek Tuscany Falls Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament fund charitable good works that make a difference in the lives of our local community

As we look forward to this year’s Rotary golf outing, Pat Doland, the president of the Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary Foundation stated “In planning for this year’s golf outing, we added a few changes to enhance the event. But two things didn’t change…our goal was to raise needed funds for various area charities and to ensure our golfers have a great time.”

The 18-hole scramble format tournament will begin with registration at 7:00 am, the golf ball drop at 7:45 am and the shotgun start at 8:00 am followed by an award’s lunch. The registration fee is $600 for a foursome, $160 for an individual, $340 for a foursome with the PebbleCreek Golf Package Membership and $85 for an individual with a PebbleCreek Golf Package Membership. The registration fee includes golf, a golf cart, a golf glove, a sleeve of golf balls, snacks, lunch and prizes. The PebbleCreek Tuscany Golf Club is located at 16222 Clubhouse Drive in Goodyear, AZ.

The entry deadline is April 25. Entry forms are available on our club website www.goodyearpebblecreekrotary.org or at the PebbleCreek Golf pro shops. Sponsorship packages are available for local businesses interested in supporting the Rotary Club’s charitable efforts. All sponsorship donations are reinvested in the community for charitable purposes. Avondale Toyota is the Main Event Sponsor once again this year.

Another fun feature of the tournament is the golf ball drop featuring 600 numbered golf balls dropped from a Goodyear Fire ladder truck. The ball going in the hole, or coming closest to it, will win $3,000. If there are multiple winners, the $3,000 will be split among the winners. The ball drop tickets are $20 and are available from Rotary members. You need not to be present to win. The proceeds from this tournament will also fund student scholarships and local charitable projects.
