Supervisory Special Agent Kyle Roberts, with the Phoenix FBI says that one of the most important ways law enforcement confronts extremism is by building relationships in communities. A primary part of Robert's job is meeting new people and raising awareness about what a hate crime is, so people can identify if they've witnessed one, or been a victim of one--and, most importantly, notify him or others in law enforcement.

Jean Herschede' s Involvement with Amigos de Guatemala
Director, Jean Herschede has always had a fondness for Latin America
from having been an exchange student to Brazil. Her career in software
consulting had her working in various locations “south of the border.”
Always wanting to give back, particularly with a focus on education, Jean
has been involved with Amigos de Guatemala since 2010.

Gary has spent over 40 years working and teaching in information technology. For his first twenty years Mr. Marrer has worked for several orgniziations (IBM GE, VSP, Karsten) in software development, I/T support, and I/T management capacity. He has spent the last 20 years working for the Maricopa Commuity College system as faculty, Department Chair, Acting Dean. He has also taught at Northern Arizona, University of Phoenix and Arizona State University. |
